what size needle is best for thigh?

At first I too used 25g 1" but I like the 23g 1.5" much better. The 25g is so small that oil based compounds take so long to come out, I don't like it unless I am injecting Winny.

I believe best length is 1" for quads. I almost always shoot with a 25 gauge, and syringes/needles are so cheap, I'll usually draw with a 23 g and replace the needle and shoot with a 25 g (oil) or 27 g (water).

I have heard that if you are using multi-dose vial, and you draw with something thicker such as 21 g or 19 g, it could cause small pieces of rubber to enter your vial or compromise the sterile solution?

i'm using 25g right no for sust. and prop. the prop is so thin it only takes about 5 seconds for 1-1/2cc

Ditto - not a fan of thigh injections but 25g 1" is what I use.

I wouldn't use anything bigger than a 23 guage. 1". 1 1/2" if you've got big thighs.
