What size/length pinz are you using?

I'm about out of my 1.5in 21's and i'm wondering what I can get away with shooting oil through? 23's, 25's?

Whats the benefit of a smaller gauge - Less pain, less scaring?

I'm fine using the 21's, just wondering if there is any reason to go smaller?

I do just fine with 22 gauge 1 inch (I shoot my quads). I do oil as well.

25G is too skinny if you are using thicker oils like primo

WTF. Why are you guys sticking yourselves with harpoons?!

For everywhere except glutes I use a 25g 1". I do a nice slow inject the 25g works perfect I can barely tell were I even injected an hour after wards.

22 - 23 and 1 to 1.5 inches.. depends what's at walmart.. BUT.. 25s'll work.. just slow to draw, and inject.. less scar tissue though...

I use 23g. Finer gauge equals less scar tissue buildup and less pain upon injection.
25g will work too if you have time and your patient.

I pin oil with 25g and 29g slins, never get pain and as far as I'm concerned the finer the less pain and scar tissue. I'm not a wuss just could never go back to 23g after using the right ones

How long is the slin pin? Isn't slin meant to be injected Sub-Q?? So like 1/2 - 5/8ths of an "?? That's not deep-enough man...

Just because it's not the way most inject doesn't make it wrong. I know a lot of vets using the same pinning technique as me.

I didn't say it was wrong... I just said it wasn't deep enough... mind you... if you're using water based gear... and hitting tris or something... I guess it wouldn't be too too bad... I wouldn't be using 1/2 inch pin in my ass... but if it works for you... good stuff!

I just used a 25g 1inc for quards! this was my second attemt to run a cycle without stopping due to pinning.
i have tried to run primo and inject my self but had to stop since i coudent take it, i used a blue 23g then

this time orange. I shot my eyes and bit my teeth togetter and was waiting for the pain to come when i pinning me.... funny enough i felt NO pain at all
i wanted to aspirate my self wich i did and i pushed the plunger! damn i love these orange 25g

Agreed. Everywhere except glutes a 25g 1" EOS. And to me a 23g 1.5" is the gold standard for glutes and a 21g needle is best for drawing from the vial.

23-25 Gauge is your ideal choice. Def 1-1.5 inch is all you need.
