i have purchased my third set of ipod ear buds within less than 1 year. i lost my first pair and the second pair i washed and dried by accident.

i have also purchased tool's aenima cd 3 times.

me with the ipod buds as well......the ones that came with it didn't fit in my ears so I had to get the soft ones and I blew out a speaker in those and just had to replace them agian.

If you bought a fine pair (meaning expensive) trust me you would treat them differently.

Last year I bought a pair of specially tinted perscription sunglasses Good Lord! but did they cost me!!! I love them to death and take very good care of them. Now near a year later they have not been scratched, dropped, lost or otherwise mishandled.

i paid over 400 for my glasses... tried to pay extra attention to them and then my brothers gf's damn dog snatched them from my saving place... (the place where I put them when i'm not wearing them) and bit them all up. Now they are full of scratches... blah...

well... sure wish I could but this is the same brother that I reached out and bought a car for, which he did not hold up and pay for, didn't keep insurance on so I had to handle that... and the same bro that borrowed mone from me and didn't pay me back, same bro that also was given my land to live on and tapped into my electricity, water and cable and was like pulling teeth to get money for him to help me with those extra charges. And to top it all off ..... Same bro that took my childrens laptop (to use temp) and decided that he would just keep it because I was irate due to him not paying me for the car i paid for.

oh... its taken some time... way more time than i desire, but i've come to realize that. I've shut him off, sold his mustang, and all gave all his belongings he left at my home to the needy. In the end, I didn't recover even 1/2 of what i put out but... now I know better. I'm a soft hearted sucker when it comes to family and those I love...
