I'm still confused about one thing - how 17-alkylation relates to the Cytochrome P-450 enzymes in the liver. I've looked at
tons of journal articles, all my medical textbooks, and the clearest
answer I get is that 17-a's "inhibit first pass", or various enzymes
are distrupted. Does anyone know which enzymes are involved
(i.e standard names), also are simple "lock and key" mechanics
the issue in this situation?
