what makes your pupils dialate/flutuate

i know its a stupid question but i can thelp myself, why do my pupils fluctuate, sometimes they are the size of needle tips and sometimes they are the size of pennies.. wtf


btw i dont drink or do drugs.

i guess that if you see a hot chick your eyes will dilate too. Numerous magazines and articles say this. some physiological action your eyes send to your brain and vice versa that says 'i like what i see and i want to see more'; thus your eyes dilate, regardless of how much light they are receiving. this also works for me when i see 20" of fresh powder.

do they do this while your looking in the mirror? or you notice they are different sizes thru the day

they change when in new light, and when exposed to a new light a cerain amount of 'jittering' while adjusting is normal. its not much though.
