Just wondering this, you know how some of us or i dunno maybe just me but I can eat a normal say Mcdonalds Meal for example but wont feel full until have 3more mcchicken sandwichs followed by icecream and donits......than get a stomach cramp sleep for a while than have the same urge............. during my H.S life
i was eating 3school lunchs (STILL HUNGRY) bought cookies preztels but at the time i was also a aggressive inline skating so i hardly gain fat and always maintained 150 but now i see that i gave up skating and took lifting up my body gains fat and stuff like but besides this WHAT MAKES U WANT TO KEEP EATING,WHAT CONTROLS APPETITE?

insulin plays a large part in hunger. After a insulin high when you crash again your body really wants you to restore it so boom instant hunger.

That why sugar won't fill you very long and high glycemic carbs will make you hungry again in a short period of time.

its our genetics. u are most likely an ectomorph body-type. fast metabolism due to more thyroid output, small bone structure, have a hard time gaining alot of bodyweight. i know certain chemicals in our brain control hunger. i cant name them off the head though.

i can gain weight just bad weight.......FAT i just got from being 180ish,and u could see the 180ish stomach,,,,,,,160ish now even with lower stomach, fast metabolism i wish i had that: P

Besides the well know GI index there is the Satiety Index
it measures how much a certain food makes you feel "full"

I have a theory on this and it is only a theory -- so here it goes--------- When you eat low nutrient dense foods per calorie, your body is not hungry for volume but hungry for nutrition. So, your body keeps sending hunger signals even though you just ate. Yes, the insulin response has to due with it- but that depends on what you just ate.--- Try noticing when you are eating high nutrient per calorie foods if this changes. I have found it has, however, maybe its all in my head.

I like that theory! I have the same one. When I used to be fat and just eat shit all the time I never noticed anything. Then I started bodybuilding and eating clean. Now, on days where I fall off of the wagon and just start eating like shit I'm hungry all day. I think it's my body telling me to eat some fucking nutrients and not junk.
