The humidity in every pressure gas coming out from ass makes possible the clapping between the butt cheeks. Hairy asses don't clap because the hair acts as a little filter living a little space between cheeks. So the humidity gets caught by hair and the hair just flow across the hair. Pressing yourself seated against a chair and farting very strong, makes some giant and awful noise that even traspass the chair and make the springs vibrate.

If you ever played a wind instrument then you'd get it. Vibration of the skin as the gas escapes. They're funny cause they're offensive.

BTW - the more relaxed the muscle the less noise it makes. Don't turn your back on a guy that has silent farts
