damn I had transformers with optimus prime on the front, ah the day were a ham and chees sandwich an orange and some chips could fill my stomach...... The drink was the capri pouches that only a select few kids in the grade could actually open with the straw to bad it was always the tomboy girl who opened mine, then she would try to beat me up, go figure...

My mom wouldn't let me have capri sun. I could only have 100% fruit juice with no added sugar.

my parents wouldnt let me eat any meals that werent home made.....i was the only kid at school not to eat school dinners. man i got teased for that

I was picky and prefered lunches that my mom made. Actually, she quit making us lunches in late elementary school because my sister and I fought so much in the morning. So we made our own-- but there was only healthy stuff around the house. I've never even had koolaid. I was deprived of junk food.

My mom always froze the juice boxes and they'd be cold and a smidge icey by lunch time. On a happy note, she baked a lot of treats....we just never got store bought junk food.

dont worry you aren't the only one. I had no junk food and all I had for my lunch was a miserabe peanut butter sandwich and an orange juice. That's it. No fantaisy stuff. I guess thats hwat they call coming from a "poor family"...........
