I'm looking to switch protein powders to avoid sweeteners since I know they have side effects....what's a good one. I don't want to skip too many days of not drinking protein shakes, so I need to konw prety fat.

I was looking at triple threat....what does it use as a sweetener?

Also, can u just buy the whey isolate from protein factory and drink it in milk or will that taste nasty...i don't want to add any sweetener

thanks

We use a very small amount of Nutrasweet with Natural flavoring. Most of the sweetness comes from the protein blend which is naturally sweet, but we did have to add Nutrasweet to give the product its excellent taste. I personally think the Nutrasweet scare is overblown.

In formulating TT 3/60, I tried all the sweeteners available. I had hoped to use stevia, but the sweetness varied so greatly from batch to batch that this was not possible. And the stevia tasted poorly too.

If protein factory's whey isolate is real, and not really a concentrate, it will taste terrible by itself.

george,

TT definitely has superior taste to most every other brand. Could you somehow come up with a formulation that retains that taste level but has zero or low carbs?
Like 4-5g carbs max.
