What kind of protein for the morning?

Bit confused on this one..

Been having optimum nutrition whey with weetabix in the morning, my theory behind this one, is since it's breakfast, with wheys quick digestion i'm literally pumping protein into my muscles.

But I've seen a mix of casein and whey which I thought might be better?

Thoughts please.
 
can I ask a question? How many weet bix do you have evermorning? and in saing that,do you have your whey before, with or after your weet bix? I have simply waking up, making a shake (I somtimes put 1 egg white with it) with 200mL of Low fat milk. Then I have 5 wet bix with low fat milk and down that with some water and thats it. Would you recomend having lots of water with my breakfast seeings I only just consumed my shake?
 
What I do, is have 4 weetabix, and then put a scoop of ON Whey ontop, and add skimmed milk, the ON whey mixes absolutely beautifully and I don't even have to use a shaker, though you could if you really wanted to. In the morning I also take multi vitamin, omega3, and fat burners.

Today I just bought some casein/egg powder and going to use that with my shakes from now on, it's a shake the stuff doesn't mix how whey does! It doesn't contain glutamine either like ON whey which is a shame...

Anymore help on this topic would really be appreciated.
 
It only works well with Optimum Nutrition whey in my experience, it's great, like having chocolate weetabix basically! But I'm going to change over to casein now, I'll probably pick up some ON casein lol.
 
copy? chances are you got it from us (united kingdom) since you're a from a commonwealth country?

Besides I don't care, just give it a try :P
