According to this thread, a Pre Contest Diet is High Pro, Low Carb, Mod Fat.
I did a google search and found TONS of examples, all very different. Some carb deplete and carb load, some dont. Some eat carbs pre Contest, some dont. I have also read that for "Maximum Separation" (Cuts) some use a 80%Pro 10% carb, 10%fat. It all depends on how your body responds to the different macronutrient ratios.
My fav was this guys PreContest diet:
Typical Daily Diet
The diet calls for 6-7 meals per day, taken every 2 hours or so.
#1: 10 egg whites & 1 cup of oatmeal
#2: 10 egg whites & 1 cup of oatmeal
#3: 10 oz steak & 1 cup brown rice
#4: 10 oz steak & 1 large baked potato
#5: 10 oz steak & 1 cup brown rice
#6: 10 oz steak & 1 large baked potato
#7: Specialized Protein For Gainers
