What is wrong with the movie "TROY" ?

It was a lazy, do-nothing Saturday night. I see the movie TROY offered on my cable system. I had been avoiding this flick for some time as these little alarms would go off in the back of my mind, saying ... Stay Away - Far Away.

None the less. I clicked it on and settled back.

Right away I could see all the big bucks spent on the location and the extras. The stars were in good shape and jumped around killing each other in macho fashion. They all obviously had their own wig-masters and hair stylists with them at all times. I never knew that Pitt had three layers of thick hair.

But ... But ... those alarms kept ringing. Yes, it was a clinker.

What else is wrong with it?

I rather enjoyed it...its not really historically correct...the real story is the Illied...but nonetheless a good watch...

I had the same feeling concerning this film... but I actually enjoyed it. Knowing the Illiad very well, it was interesting to see the perspective from Achilles, Paris and Hector. Those characters aren't as nearly fleshed out in the Illiad.

I liked it. When I watch a movie, I'm usually just looking to be entertained.
This movie did that in fine style.

Theres nothing wrong with it. i think it was a very good movie.
