What is wrong with adults and sports?

I play in a recreational baseball (not softball) league and there have to be some of the biggest babies playing. You have to be at least 21 to play. Most players are 25-35. In our game today the pitchers started throwing at batters! What in the hell is wrong with these people! It was my teams players doing it as well. There was a lot of trash talking and threats of ass kickings going on while the players children looked on.

Jesus, all I want is to play a little ball once a week. I really don't even care what the score of the game is.

the idiot pitchers have been watching too much sportscenter and seeing how the major leaguers have been finding their revenge so now they think it it "part of the game."

I hear you, I play rec softball for fun, usually 2 nights a week, I go out there to drop bombs and thats it. I could care less about the final score. If I popout or make an error or something, I might get a little irritated, but some fucks out there are ridiculous. One guy took his 250$ bat and smashed it against a metal pole, it put a huge dent in it and ruined it.

Also, there are all the whiny bitches that complain about every call the unpire makes. The umpire had to EJECT 2 PEOPLE at my last game. They were whining about balls and strikes. BALLS AND STRIKES?? IN RECREATIONAL SOFTBALL??? pisses me off.

That sounds like the team I played on this year. A bunch of over grown babies. I'm debating weather or not to play next year because of it. That and school will probably keep me from it.

I see the same thing with softball.... like someone said...its a recreational league... I give the umps credit though...they put up with more bullshit than I would.... I'd be tossing these assholes left and right....

The ump tossed a couple in my game. I don't blame him either. We do have real umps that have been to umpiring school. Well, at least we pay them decent money.

Yeah, some of the guys are highly competitive. There are a lot of former college players and a few that played pro ball in the minor leagues. However, when a pitcher says "I'm throwing at your head next time" and then DOES throw a pitch at someone's head then things are out of hand.
