What is up with the giant mid sections .....

Thats correct, the use of GH causes the internal organs to enlage, and the "gut" to expand. I've heard of some BB using 36 IU of GH a day. Did you see Ronnie Coleman's gut at the Mr. O? He looked pregnant.

Not only the GH but also the crazy size of them forces them to eat so much that their stomachs can start to protrude from that. Not like any of them run or anything to keep themselves at least sort of aesthetic. Most pro BB's eat whole pizzas and stuff like that...so of course your gonna be rocking some bloat, and when you pair that with crazy ammounts of GH you got yourself looking pregnant.

Greek, when in season BB's eat very clean. When they are on stage you can be sure than what you see in NOT 'bloat". In fact, they have almost no water in them due to the diuretics (sp/) and sodium restrictions.

Its GH induced, which I do not believe is medically proven, but we all know what it is.

I agree that the guys with teh smaller stomachs looked much better, granted they were (20-30 pds) smaller.

There

There was an artilce writen by Dave Palumbo where he thought gh bellys where a result of extreme size, and it sort of made sense to me. He said that most bodybuilders under 240 dont really have a big gut but at around 240-250 it starts to really come out, he was blaming it on all the mass, on the lower back and the abs, so much mass it has to go somewhere so it goes out, I mean can you have abs that stick out 2 inches like little nobs, or something it was in musclemag for what its worth

GH can be the culpret of a lot of the extended bellies but it is also due to the amount of calories most pros are taking in to retain all the muscle mass they have while competing. They could still be eating clean but trying to pack in sometime 600+ grams of protein plus the amount of carbs they take in to load up before a show can also force the belly to stck out a good bit more. That is for your bigger competitors 240+. The smaller ones really don't need all the calories.

Seems to be the GH to me... look at the old bbuilders.... lou ferrigno was 6-5 275 pounds... well above 240, and he had a cut and tight midsection. Damn i just watched pumping iron and the guys back then look 10 times better than the guys now. Unbelievable how small their wastes were.
peace out
