What is the SECOND most famous onscreen death?

william holden, laying face down, floating in gloria swanson's swimming pool at the beginning of "sunset blvd" ??
Excellent choice. Great flick too.

When Obi-Wan Kenobi dies at the end of the original Star Wars at the hands of Darth Vader. It might not be the best second death scene, but I'd bet it's the most famous.

ALIEN

... when the guy dies from the little Alien ripping out of his stomach while eating spaghett.

I was going to offer up the fall Hans Gruber took at the end of Die Hard but then I saw this. :artist:

All pretty good ones...let me add a few...

The Predator at the end...where he's cough'in up that alien spew after getting pounded by Arnold. On top of his death he gets the 'ol "Yoar one ugly mudda fuckah" by the king.

Can't forget FREEEEEDDDDOOOMMMM!! in Braveheart.

Gladiator

Mufausa in Lion King...."Help me !.......Brother ! !"

Howabout the dude that Travolta shoots in the backseat of Pulp Fiction....

The end of Deerhunter, where blood is squirting outa the temple of Walkin...

Lastly....speaking of Walkin - the end DEAD ZONE.

At Close Range....Chris Penn's crying last words...."Dad ?? !!"

The end of Scarface... I think this should actually be nominated for first place because EVERYONE has seen the end of Scarface and has tried to do the Tony Montana voice.

"Say 'ello to my little friend!"

William Wallace being drawn and quartered at the end of Braveheart.

Dirty Harry....

"This is a 44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world..."

Then kills that weird fucker....Classic.

Ranger

How about the death of Spock from Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan...CLASSIC! HAHAHAHA! :p

"Live long and prosper...Bitches!"
