What is the opinion of this site for getting capital for a business

I am interested, because I did step one (free) and they tell me they have matches for both my engineering and hobby store ventures

Catch is they wantt 199 bucks for each business to put me into contact with the investors. They appear to have good credentials and so on. But given today's world that is easily faked.

I would think that they would have a list of succesful venture unions you could contact. Also I would think they would work on a commission basis of achieved ventures, rather than hitting you for $199.00. It's not a large sum of money...not one people would raise holy hell over to get back. So I would dig further into the sight on whois...etc.

It costs nothing to send in the Finance Proposal and find out how many matches there are between your funding needs and the interests of the investors. When the entrepreneur is ready to take the next step, then a flat, one-time $250 search fee is charged. There are no other fees, commissions or charges paid to Seed Capital Network or anyone else!

This was the only thing I could find regarding fees.

Were was the info located at for the $199 fee?

That is what I was thinking and what I got from the site. I am just leery of things as I don't want find out later that while I got funded, the business really belongs to them and not just as capital. On the other hand the potential to become very successful is a very luring aspect due to the investment capital that can be thrown your way.

I am going to do some more digging. They have identified 11 matches for my hobby store and 26 matches for my engineering business.
