What is the matter with Kazaa?

Anyone having problems with it?

I am only getting around 85k users online, connecting at the moment, down from the usual 2-3 million. I am using Kazaa Lite, anybody having problems with it? The number of users seemingly fluctuates everytime I diconnect and reconnect, but I can't get more than 100,000.

which isp? are you running a firewall? is it showing up as firewalled?

i just noticed i only have 90 000 users online myself, instead of a couple mill...no wonder this thing is taking so damn long to come down

could be your isp flicking swithces...bastards did that to me a few times so i reset the port a few times to bring it back up to speed

I am running Zone Alarm, but that has never caused a problem before.

go into network properties in k-lite and change the tcp and udp ports from whatever they are to port 80. 80 is left open and so you can sometimes resolve your dramas like this, although it may impact on surfing aparently. i never noticed a difference

Thanks, Kazaa is jumping around between 2 million and less than 100k users at the moment, something's unstable.

Kazaa is very unstable. I have problems every time I run it. It requires too much memory.

yep its dicky as hell tonight, ive been waiting 6 hours for the last 20 meg of a 700 meg file, and i got the other 680meg in the space of 10 hours

iI tried to log on last night and I got some type of message that my kazza program had been partialy uninstalled and needed to reinstal

I use Bearshare and think it's the best. But regardless of wich p2p program you use, you need to download peerguardian from www.download.com It is a firewall that blocks corporations trying to see if your "illegaly" downloading files.
