Can anybody tell me the difference between T-3 and T-4. Is it the mcg? I read somewhere that the ratio of T4:T3 is 4:1 or 4.5:1. This might be a stupid question but does that mean I have to take 4 times as much T-4 to get the same results of T-3?
Hey thanks for the reply! So what you are saying is T-4 has the same bang as T-3 but just releases over a longer peiod of time? That would be ideal I think?
No T3 is better for weight loss. T4 is more for people who have thyroids that do not function properly. Make sure you read up plenty about how to cycle on and off T3 so you don't shut down your thyroid.
T3 is much more active then T4. It has to do with the amount of iodine in the the structure. From what I remember, all T4 gets converted to T3 but T3 is like 100x more potent.
