What is the difference between Anabolic and Androgenic?

what is the difference between anabolics and androgenics? And also what is the signifigance of the A to A ratio? Different effects and sides?

Anabolic-Aiding in protein synthesis
Androgenic-Contributing to secondary sex characteristics.

Example-Highly anabolic compounds-Anavar, Primobolan, Equipoise
Highly androgenic compds -Testosterones, Anadrol, Dianabol

All those examples have their own anabolic/androgenic ratios but those are just examples. I would bet that someone somewhere has a link to ratios of anabolic steroids.
This is merely the way I understand it, and in no way am I an expert.
