I've had two
they are laser detectors as well,

i cant wait to get another one,

you can mail them back to the manuf. to get them upgrgaded periodically too

they run around $400, ,but if you drive fast enough to actually need a good radar detector, then you will see IT DOES PAY FOR ITSELF

you could probably buuy a used one or something on Ebay, I haven't checked on that. I personaly have had all bad experiences on ebay though

but really, Valentine1's are THE MOST badass radar detectors i've ever seen, i wouldnt use anyything else
if i didnt have the money (which idont right now) i juust go without one instead of buying a POS.......

If you got the $$ go for the Valentine 1 otherwise you can get Beltronics 980 (thats what i use) it is a great unit too...about $200

valentine is a good product. There is also something called teh Phantom that is excellent.
