What is the best meal replacement?

I haven't been following all the supplement craze out there so info would be helpful. I am wondering what the best meal replacement shakes are out on the market right now. I always loved MET-rx but it is a bit expensive. I have been using EAS sakes but don't feel it gives me the edge that MET-rx does. Is there any thing else that is great quality but less expensive than Met-rx shakes? Just looking for something to help supplement my diet. Something high in protien.

Thanks

i reckon something simple for a meal replacement like

30 grams of Whey and add 100grams oat bran

with a couple of fish oil tablets for fat

would workout well i think as a replacement , its probably even better than real food

i'm with tommymac, there's no real reason to go with a "full on" MRP

I use plain oats, add water, nuke them til they're real soft, and stir in some Iron Tek chocolate whey.

pour in milk, put in fridge, voila, a "lean" MRP. If you want, add a banana and a TB of all natural PB, and get yourself a bulking MRP. Delicious, cheap as hell, and far more nutritious than the crud you'll find in a packet, for the most part. :D

This actually sounds like a good idea, I will try this method. Thanks for the information. I am sure this will save a little cash as well.
