I am also a single parent now so that means:

NO MORE NEW YEAR'S EVE DOING LAUNDRY WHILE THE HUBBY IS SLEEPING!

Since I had the girls on Thanksgiving, he gets them for New Years. I had a dream about being in the most amazing man's arms and kissing him as world counted down to a new year..... but that is one dream that just isn't going to be fulfilled. So I guess I may work.

There is a saying that whatever you are doing on New Year's Eve will be what you will be doing throughout the coming year.... I guess if my friends succeed in dragging my sorry ass out, it won't be so bad.

Go ahead and go out with your friends... I can always send you a nude postcard.

It is going to be a mulit-day celebration for me!!

I am actually going to take a mini-vacation up to Green Bay to see the Packer v. Viking game at Lambeau. Tailgaiting, Whirlpool suite at the hotel.....It should be sweet!! A group of 20 of my friends and I are going, so it should be a real party from start to finish! And a well needed vacation from the 70-80 hour weeks I have been putting in as of late!! Planning on staying up in the Bay until Jan 2nd. I can hardly wait!!
