What is correct form concerning feet when doing squats?

i have the same problem and my feet are never perpendicular. I always have one further in front than the other leg. Otherwise I will fall down. I have been to the doc on this and apparently I have a curved pelvis... So the falling forward thing is always on my mind...

I find the most stable and most comfortable stance is feet slightly wider than shoulders and slightly pointed out. Perhaps you're going to fast or bouncing.

squatting w/ anything under the heels shortens the knee -toe line, and predisposes one to possible knee injuries.

better to stretch as endpoint said- calf, hammies, & achilles
