A mililiter is 1/1000 of a liter, and a liter is 33 ounces I believe...that is kind of garbled but hey, it is some info! :)

Ok so I take what portion of 33 ounces?? All I want to make is 1 drink!

a mililiter is not very much alcohol....stiffen that drink up, girl.

Well, the recipe was all in ML and I wasn't sure how much a ML was.....hmmmm, maybe I read wrong & it was for 10 ML, still I have no idea what the conversion is....

Damn metric system!

That would be about 3oz, I think

be careful and don't over feed it! They crawl everywhere looking for a bathroom.

RADAR

Here's the recipe:

Sunset Martini

40 ml tequila (~ 1.3 oz?)
10 ml lime ( ~ .33 oz?)
10 ml grenadine

Stir tequila and lime with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Carefully add the grenadine.

If you take a dropper...20 drops = 1ml. But who wants to use that method to make mixed drinks?

Your conversions are correct.

1liter = 30 ounces.
Therefore, 1 ounce = 33ml. Or, 1ml = 0.03ounces.

Damn, you need some nootropics.. LOL, j/k...

In bartenderland 1fl. oz = 30ml

just do 4 parts tequilla 1 part lime 1 part grenadine

and u cant go wrong

Now THAT seems like a good solution.....

Stupid metric system....LOL

oh bloody hell

one shot = 30ml

so as per recipe:

Here's the recipe:

Sunset Martini

40 ml tequila = 1 1/3 shots
10 ml lime =1/3 shot
10 ml grenadine = 1/3 shot

Stir tequila and lime with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Carefully add the grenadine.

and there you go

you're right, what a pain!

if only the Internet had thousands of pages giving conversions between metric and standard measurements. in fact, it would be awesome if there were actually a huge number of pages which had simple programs to convert one unit to another.

oh, but even, with all those pages out there...how could we find them? we'd need an easy-to-use tool, something to help us search for those pages. i don't know, i guess we might call it a search engine, or something, if it existed.

sure would be neat. too bad none of that is at your disposal.

bummer :(

depends too much on the size of a teaspoon. I for one dont have no 5 cc teaspoon. thats a big teaspoon.

there is a standard teaspoon volume. if you buy a teaspoon (5ml) or tablespoon (15ml) measuring spoon, they will be accurate.
