What I JUST don't understand.........

Is how careful and maticulate every is, questions posed, etc of their next cycle, yet don't spend three seconds developing a diet and/or asking for a review.

The diet board is bare, and the questions that are posed are the same ones over and over (i.e. is this too many carbs? Can I eat rice cakes and fruit and not get fat?)...AAS subscribers should be the ones really concentrating on diet, as it's about 90% of this game...........

Im on my first cycle... Im eating the same thing as I have been eating... just about twice as much. in between each solid meal I have a protein shake with fish oil... later this week or next week i will be gettin some carb power. its low glycemic from the protein factory. its just for extra good carbs and calories. I do beleive people think they can get away with eating the same way they do on cycle as off.. I admit I dont eat 100% clean, i am bulking, but I do watch what I eat for an advantage.

Its pretty simple. A lot of people on this board think that AAS use will make them look like a pro (not everyone). They don't realize the detail that must be put into their diet. Nor do they realize the detail that must be put into their training. I could go on and on.... but... I think you know what I'm talking about!

I'll be on the diet board soon...

I need to set up a bulking diet.

I want 20lbs in 4 months.

I think that alot of the diet questions end up getting posted on here..thats why the diet board is empty...you post up your cycle and then talk about your diet...seen it many of times

I asked basically that same question on the diet board and someone told me I was just being naive. I think it's a very fair question.

and a lot don't.......AND even more think they do, but in actuality, they couldn't be further off......I'd love to see some of the bros post them, just to see if maybe we could help them out...........

True. true. Hittin the weights is the easy part. Takin juice is the expensive and cautuous part. Diet is the real hard part. Lots of guys lift. Lots of guys juice. Not many guys diet.

I think you are right. When it comes to adjusting a diet I think most of us are used to PM'ing someone for advice.
I would say more people on here know less about how to diet than they do about AAS.

good post and good rant. although my formula is a bit different:

65% diet
20% training
15% rest
10% sauce

yes I am aware that adds up to 110%, cause 'ain't nobody gonna getch you nuttin' > ronnie.

you got it my friend...the machine is helping me with this (so dont stop machine!!! just trying to see how more i can be helped):

im 26 5'6 (short fuck) 215lbs w/19% bf (may not be accurate)...my body frame is muscular all around..hold most of my fat on my stomach...i tend to gain weight easily and if im strict with my diet tend to loose it somewhat slower then others...this is what im currently eating:

6am - protien shake
8am - 6 scrammbled eggs (2 whole) 1 piece 100% whole wheat toast
1030 - protien shake
1pm - 4 pieces of chicken tenderloins 3/4 cup brown rice
4pm - protien shake
This is where it gets difficult for me, i work from 730 - 5pm (mon-fri) and have an hour drive home..so i dont get into town till 6 (wed/thur i have class at 630 - 9!!) and usually dont get home till 645! so that protien shake does nothing for me in terms of holding me over...suggestions?
7pm (when not in school) another problem area...sometimes 6 eggs..with nothing else (try not to consume carbs) or 4 pieces of chicken tenderloins w/handfull carrots (raw)
9pm protien shake.

So you see my delima...school on wed/thurs kick my ass when im trying to be good..im thinking i should take a shake in that case?? Buying food is no problem..i guess i need a better selection and guidance...my goal at least a 5-7% reduction in body fat...last time i checked i dont even think i was hitting 2000 cals a day and my bmr states 2100 cals a day. I also downloaded the calorie intake log from one of you bro's cant remember who....ok there it is...so help me....Will be posting pics tomorrow!
Workout routine right now is 5x5 @ 5/days a/wk, cardio 3X a wk.

I agree. Diet is the most overlooked part of any bulking or dieting plan. Too many people rely on AAS for all of their results and then come on here complaining when they don't achieve their goals...

YES!!!YES!!!! YES!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Fianlly!!! We have realized that diet is the fourth element..

Eat
Sleep
train
diet

sometimes I just feel like putting a sign up in my gym in front of the padded mats where all these goofballs pump out as many sets of abs as possible that says:

"Abs are made in the kitchen, you're wasting your time if your diet is not in check"

yes yes yes C C yes..

ABSolutely are earnd in he kitchen (or lack there of).I'm tired of seeing the 20%+ gym rats doing 1/2 hour of abs........I'm also tired of the bros that lie to my face. Here's what happens in my gym at least twice a month.

DOOOD....how do you get so fing shredded?
It's 90% diet bro......
What do u eat?? Here's mine.
protein shake
can of tuna
protein shake
3 egg whites
few peanuts
protein shake

BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless those shakes are 500+ cals, or you sleep for 23 hours a day, they is no way that is ALL you are eating

Well, I snack here and there and I go out on the weekends, so it's hard to follow a strict diet.
BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we are on to something.....hmm.......
What? Isn't a onion loaf, with crusted breaded fried salmon and a few beers allowed?

*walks*

Diet is the biggest part of getting the body you want. I made sure I had my diet in check and even bough enough food for three months so I could follow my diet. I planned my diet just like I planned my cycle.

LMAO...i know, i know bro...my best freind is a female and she knows a little bit about training and she knows what she SUPPOSED to eat but doesnt eat it. she basically applies nothing from what she has learned. so shes in the gym training abs all day and running 4-6 miles..still with that layer covering up her belly. i love the girl but she will never listen..

I kind of have to agree with The Machine! I've been lifting for around 7 years & KNOW my body & how to diet the best way FOR ME! I've only been in the game though for just over a year... Like a lot of people I just want to post a thread without doing research, but now-a-days I do search and read around.
But personally I think dieting varies even more from person to person! Whereas there are tons of people on the boards who know a shit load more then I do about AAS, and I think that is reason number 1 why people post here more.

I whole heartedly agree. Diet is everything. I think that people don't realize what they are eating unless they actually write everything down on paper day-by-day for a few weeks, just like you would if you were budgeting your money. You would be surprised what you actually put into your body.

I use a program on my Palm Pilot that tracks my calories, protein, fat, etc. that i taylor to my needs. It is very effective if you want a little help reaching your diet goals. I think I paid like 20 bucks for it. Some of you may want to check it out. It has helped me be more aware of what I eat.
