What hinders gains?

no he hasnt but he has talkin to alot of bodybuilders and thats what he told me they do somethin with ur cortisol levels

I've never heard that but we'll let some of the bro's that know alot more than me chime in.
 
years ago i sometimes would take vicodin on leg day to push thru the pain.Later on i became addicted to them and was taking up to 50 lortab 10mg a day.this is where my bodybuilding career ended.I didnt touch a weight for 6 years.well i got cleaned up shook the dirt off and getting back on stage in june.very deadly drug.heroin in a pill

Yes I would agree on that. I have been on 50mg Voltaren (NSAID) for a rotator tear for 3 months. During this time I dropped 6 kgs even though I was on gear & eating 4500-5000cal Ed. I stopped taking them 3 weeks ago & have put on 2.5kg . Definately steriodal drugs like prednisone are catabolic to muscle & there has been an article in MD lately to suggest that EFA's can decrease protein synthesis as well. I guess though, its a trade off esp for older lifters as to whether you lose a bit of growth to being able to train with all the wear & tear that the BBers body has been subjected to over the years.
