I live in Canada where it is legal to posses, so the cops are not so hard up for juice. In most cases whatever they find in your possession can be considered for personal use (as long as it's not huge qty)

I do have a question regarding entrapment. If an undercover cop does steroids or drugs in front of you and other witnesses, can he arrest you and be put on the witness stand, knowing he comitted a crime as well? That would authorize cops to be above the law.
The defence can argue the credability of the cop and whether his judgement was impaired by the drugs or other.

Here in Canada its a case by case. A cop couldn't kill someone in order to have a serial killer caught. Following court's decisions, there must be a relation between the crime and what "offence" the cop did in order to have you arrested. Yes he could if this would mean catching a big dealer (I'm talking about a guy who sells hundreds of amps ED).
