What does it mean when the plunger doesn't go down?

Has anyone expeirenced this? Its happend to me a few times. I would jab myself but the plunger would not go down, no matter how much pressure I applied. I did aspirate and there was no blood inside the syringe. What could be causing this? Scar tissue?

Mt friend had it happen when he tried to inject t400 with a 25 gauge needle, it wasn't big enough. Other that that, I'm not sure.

This may be a dumb question... but do you "exercise" the plunger in the barrel 2-3 times even before drawing? Some syringes are sterilized with the plunger about 85% engaged, but they leave a small gap. That small gap can make a "sticking point" along the plunger's travel that you'd experience as you're trying to get that last bit out of the barrel.

I normally draw back on the empty syringe, then push the plunger all the way in at least twice.

this happens to me all the time (BD 22g 1in). If you let go of the syringe so that it is sticking in you all by itself, then leaving it at that angle grab it and push, that seems to help.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll try what you guys mentioned on my next cycle.

No I don't do that to the pin. I'll try it and see what happens though.

Home made Fina and T200.

If you hit bone, this can make it tough to inject as well.

I don't think thats what happend. Wouldn't that be painful?

Actually no you wouldn't even really feel it. If you did hit the bone which can happen often enough, you simply will be unable to push the liquid out, hence what your experiencing. Just a guess.....
