What does everyone do/take for recovery purposes?

Interested in what everyone does to ensure they are recovering properly, since I think this is a part of my game that is lacking. Glutamine? What kind/type (let the debate rage....)? Glucosamine? Sleep?
 
glutamine: ener-g from the af store. get some bro it's on discount right now, great value
glucosamine: i used to take it for joint pain, but after 6 mos taking it my joints feel great and i don't feel i need to continue using it anymore

if i'm feeling a bit too sore/rundown i'll fill the bathtub up and soak for a bit. i also do this before attempting a big pr

sleep i try and get 9 total hrs in, including nite and an afternoon nap

occasionaly i will use different rubs, but it's not part of my usuall weekly repotoire (sp?, lol)
 
I take 5g glutamine on waking and before bed on an empty stomach.
On workout days I'll take 5g about an hour before my workout and again during my workout after the weights but before abs/stretches to give it a chance to get into my system before I take my shake or snack.
 
First of all you have some pictures of some extremely hot girls! BUt i'm on NO2 and i take L-glutamine after working out i wake up the next morning not sore at all. It makes me feel like a little pussy like i didn't work out hard enough its some awesome crap
 
good ol fashioned food works wonders..if im feeling more drained for whatever reason from training i make sure to eat a little more carbs/protein..

I also use glutamine post w/o as well as before bed in my shake..

glucosamin as well

the heat pad gets used as well as ice for any laggin soreness/ minor injuries etc
 
good thoughts peeps - I planned on adding some glutamine and glucosamine to my regimen.

ps - for anyone that orders from supplementdirect: did you know that they have a "freebie" section, where you can get free samples with every order? I did not know that, but just found it.
 
I supplement Glutamine and Amino's. Only do Amino's because I hardly eat meat due to being in college.
 
with Ener-G glutamine peptides just use 2-3 huge table spoons a day

all in one POP

right now whey carbs, then a big meal an hour after that
just started glucosimine/msm

i'm gonna order some af products too, i think the cee and glucoroll-r
 
well, I ordered some Ener-G from our friends over there and some glucosamine/MSM as well. interested to see how they work.
 
I sleep at least 8 hours a night and try to get a 30 min nap sometime during the day - seem to recover fine
