What does a hotflash feel like?

I have always wondered this. I know hotflashes are a sign of your liver messing up but what does it actually feel like? Can anyone describe from personal experiance?

They suck....

I have had them before. I could just be sitting around, and all of the sudden I feel like I'm heating up. My face gets really hot and I feel really uncomfortable. It usually passes after a few minutes, but sometimes a little longer.
They may different for everybody, but that's what mine are like.

niacin only simulates a hot flash feeling... and it sucks...
