about my breakfast shake:

2c skim milk, 1 banana, 1scoop whey
It is so easy to blend this up and chug it down.
I eat this with 1 to 1.5c brown rice, to get more carbs in my breakfast.

It I just so hard for me to get down real food right when I wake up. Should I add some EFAs or no?

As previously stated I don't know your goals so cannot make an appropriate suggestion.

Personal preference here but if I'm eating THAT many carbs (Milk, nana, rice) in the morning, I tend to leave out the fats.

AH you people are so smart...

I am trying to lean out. I am eating ~300-400 below maintenence. Still add another scoop of whey? (I use ON %100 Whey Choclate flav.)

How do you guys get energy if you don't eat carbs while dieting? I feel so blah and sluggish if I don't eat carbs.

Another question - unrelated- If I go more then a day without hitting the gym (following a day where I lifted) I feel deflated. Anybody else get like this? What ways can it be remedied, or is there no way but to hit the gym everyday?

I take 1g of Vit C daily, should I be taking more?

I didn't mean lift everyday like the same thing over again. But last summer I used a 2 on 1 off routine that worked good to keep me pumped while lately because of time contraints I do a full body w.o. with 1 or 2 days rest and this is when I feel flat.

My protien has 120 carbs, 24g protien, 1g fat, 3g carbs.
Would anybody suggest only digesting carbs at breakfast and post workout shake? I'd be eating protien and fats at the other meals.

Also, could leafy greens still be eaten without counting them as carbs? Anybody negate them from their overall calorie count?
