What do you think is Isreal's priority right now?

On one hand you got the Iran nuclear situation that the U.S. is quietly hoping they take care of for us in an indirect way.

On the other hand you have the newly appointed Hamas in charge and they proclaim that it is their right to resist Isreal and have hinted at turning their police force into a military force due their basic right of defending themselves.

What do you think is going to happen?

i dont think that the israelis are terribly since they can slap palestine hard any time they feel like it...and anyone else in the region for that matter. sooooooooo i think that, amidst a background of palestinian fatah vs hamas infighting, itll be business as usual, with the usual gaza incursion style tactics with much collateral damage if the palestinians manage to land any blows inside israel, while they take care of iran using the US as their proxy (as usual)

fact is that continued conflict in palestine suits israel just fine, since their plans are VERY long term - their latest land grab via their illegal wall will take a few decades to bear fruit (via the ottoman law fallow land reclamation angle)

the palestinians are over a barrel big time - the only way anyone can deal with the jews is to emulate them - amass money and power in the western world and use that as a pivot in the middle east

They'll bomb Iran and kick Hamas' ass.

It looks like Iran is beginning to see the light so we may not see an Israeli smack down:

PARIS, Jan. 29 — After more than a year and a half of resistance, Iran has given inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency access to a razed military site, but it has failed to meet other demands under its international treaty obligations, officials knowledgeable about the inspections said Sunday.

The concession seemed aimed at derailing an American and European initiative to immediately send Iran's nuclear case for judgment by the United Nations Security Council.

As far as Hamas, if they don't change their stance on Israel they will lose monetary support from most of the world, which will lead to their ouster in the next election.

Iran is going to use the play from the Kim Il Jong play book and pay lip service to authorities and do an end around and in 12 to 18 months will say...Hey we got nukes...fuck off.
