ok lets try this again, and this time lets cooperate like a good little girl. ;)

what do you think is clingy when used in terms of a male-female relationship? :coffee:

static cling.... sheesh... what a silly dilly.

If you are really on the same wavelength...there is no such thing

One person in love, the other, not.

Clingy to me is when your s/o demands that you cut into 'your time' so they can spend time with you.

interesting choice of words.... hmmm....

jelousy.

despair.

Both are the ultimate in producing a person that 'clings', which i take to mean 'holds on to the raft in the high seas of emotion to the danger of killing love'

I have been guilty of both.

The extravagence of love creates a new set of rules, of boundries. If the depth and breadth of a love that shatters peace, a love so blinding that all else is purely there to support the foundation of that love... if such a thing isnt SHARED isnt experienced from both sides of the abyss... then its clingy like white mohair shedding on a black crepe silk suit... ya know?

If your comunication is spot on, if the honesty is more important than the 'convienience', then 'clingy' cant happen. Its only when you are different pages so profound that you dont KNOW where the other is approaching you from, that 'clingy' becomes the sword that severs the Gordian Knot of love.... but then, was it ever love it is so easly left in ashes?

agreed, to a certain point.

I can be totally into a girl, but if she starts demanding my gym, basketball, softball time, lake, friends, watching college football time then I may label her clingy.

Of course that may be considered psycho instead of clingy.

Anyone who thinks that they need another person to make them happy and dumps that responsibility on someone else-- and in doing so suffocates them because they can't just take control of their own life.

not putting trust in your partner leads to clingyness
also like someone mentioned its no clingy if you really want to be together
