Don't forget that most people, particularly guys let their looks go, but the average person on elite puts a shitload or work into their appearance.

And your right about the driver part.
 
If someone is attracted to my looks, i'd say i'm an 8. If not, then i'm a 5.

Well, I been in a porno or two and in a few magazines and even in one calender so I'd say 9. The only thing I hate about myself is I'm too short(just shy of 5' 8"). Also now I'm getting yellow-ish teeth from smoking but that can be bleached when I can be bothered to make the appointment, and fork out the cash.

My tan could do with a little help too.

Before I got into bodybuilding big time? I would easily say a 10. Now that I am the size I am, the mainstream public usually doesn't go for a guy who is muscular and over 250lbs.

In the end, a lot of people will find different looks and 'types' either attractive, or unattractive. It's also hard to do something like this, without pics posted. Perhaps those who wish to go in should post a pic of their face? Points shouldn't be taken away if the person is too thin, etc, because that is something that can be changed.

I don't feel I have ever come across as cocky about my looks on this board, or in real life for that matter. I would be curious as to what some of the more 'vocal' members about their looks, actually look like.
 
By the way, hope everyone realizes that the leaner you are the better your face will look. It is completely possible to go from a 3 to an 8, IMO, just by reducing your bodyfat. :)

I notice most beautiful women I talk to, usually don't care about body, as long as the guy isn't overly muscular, or fat. The guys I hear most girls comment about is Billy Zane (they always say when he had hair.), some Steven Bauer guy who I never even heard of, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, etc. Those are usually the picks from the 'classy' type of girls. Notice none of those guys is overly built, or not even at all!

Yup. :)

They like someone like Brad Pitt mostly cause of his face structure, but you have to admit that for most of the population it is very hard to get to the level of bodyfat that he is at ... and to the majority of the female population low bodyfat means more than muscles.

If you are in it for just pleasing the ladies than a low bodyfat will do. :) For myself, there is just something appealing about being over 300lbs, so i'll shoot for that lol.

I think if you have good bone structure, and over all an attractive face, you are pretty much set looks wise. As long as you aren't too short. You can lose weight, gain muscle, etc, etc, but you can't really change the that much.
 
C3 - but dont you agree that body can separate you from regular people on the street, it is osmething out of ordinary, something that other people do not have. It can be used as an initial catch, an initial spark. How tall are you @ 250 lbs btw?

No, my grandparents came here from Russia. I was born in Philadelphia, Pa. I lived there for a while, and then traveled around for a bit. I currently live in Florida, but my Fiancee' and I have considered moving to Spain, which is where she is from.

Oh yeah, I def. think if you have a great body that can set you apart from the crowd. I am 6'3 1/2, 262 at the moment. I am not sure on bodyfat, although waist is holding at 34inches. I've found that to the general public anything over 210 on a 6'-6'4 frame is considered big. I think of myself as small!

I stopped caring what the general public thought a long time ago. I want to be 320-350 one day. I don't care who likes it or not. If a person didn't like me as a friend, or otherwise in life just because of my size, or anything to do with looks, I don't find them worth my time.

This is sort of on topic. I ran into a girl the other day, who I hadn't seen in a long time. She told me I should drop back to 180/190 and I would get all the girls again. I pointed to my ring, and then said even if I was single, I wouldn't care, I do this for myself, not for others. Although I really felt like telling her to fuck off.

And about your comment, yap fuck it!, we are doing it for ourselves, it brings us pleasure to get bigger, stronger, leaner, it brings us pleasure to lift heavy weights off the floor, and fuck those who cannot understand it, and fuck the girls who tell us to trim down and have a skinny ass body. No one should dictate what we want to do to ourselves. Some girls are practically lying to themselves, they hate to admit that a big muscular body is attractive and out of ordinary, and for every girl that thinks a guy is too big, there will be one that likes it. My training partner is 5'5 and 190 lbs at 5% bodyfat. He gets as many girls as he wants. He never once thought about loosing size, because thats not even in our vocabularly!

Sk, thats how I feel. It's nice to know people want you, it makes you feel good about yourself. Although thats just a temp. feeling. Once you find that special someone who loves you no matter what in life, for who you truly are, then you just don't seem to care.

I remember I let my sister do highlights for me once, and she messed it up, and my hair came out orange. I shaved off my hair, and was worried about what my fiancee', then girlfriend would think. When I saw her that night, she kissed me, and said I looked beautiful.

I just feel I can always be me around her. When you date, there always seems that 'test period' where you feel you have to dress good, can't have any bodily functions in front of each other. I have never felt that way with her.

If you really want to take the plunge, I would go for it. From what you describe she has her head on straight, and truly loves you. You will have people tell you that you are too young, should date around, etc, but I quickly found out that those are the truly lonely people in life. They just want one more in the group, if that makes sense.

I very sincerely doubt that , have you made a woman cry in bed from pleasure? I've gone 14 hours non-stop without chemical enhancement (ok she was runnin dry at the end so we needed to use a little cream). Have you regularly night after night had her crawl into a little ball into your arms exhausted and actually start to snore (cute snore tho , nothin like mine) ? I'm going to completely disagree with the concept of low bodyfat is all you need to attract women, and that muscles are not a factor.

It all depends on your overall look. I have a strong bone structure and look much better at 220+ than I would look at 180, and get much more attention from girls at this weight (223 6' below 9 and possibly 8%) than I would at that lower weight.


Now, the criticality of the lean face cannot be overstated. I've found it's harder to keep a lean face no matter what at the higher weight, but you've all heard me champion yohimburn and this is why.

I can hover from a 7-9 based almost totally upon how much water I hold in the face, it can make a huge difference.

There are no cut and dry answers, but having a low bodyfat helps A LOT, although it isn't the most important factor. 220lbs+ @ 6' is a good weight, but try adding 40-50lbs and ask them which they prefer.

I made this thread based on the "looks are all that matter" thread, and was curious to see what people think of themselves. :D

Sorta knew, but sorta surprised that there aren't many people below 5. I guess this shows that everyone likes to think of themselves as good looking or at least average, or it can be because it is a fitness board and everyone has built up more confidence as he/she progressed in their lifting carrear.
