Yeah it's bellsouth. What's up with bellsouth? Someone on this board, I forget the name sorry, hooked me up with 3 free months. I thought he was full of shit but cause it took a while but eventually I saw the credit and it was sweet.

Free modem, no installation, $39.99/month for Verizon DSL 768/128kb speed. Had the service since October 2000, and it's only been out once since I had it. My one year contract expired this past October, but since I didn't cancel I'm now on a monthly basis locked in at $39.99, since they now charge $10/month more for new subscribers.

I pay like 44.95 for comcast cable internet. The bitch is you have to keep cable TV, which I don't watch cable and have digital so the total TV and internet bill is like 105.
I thought about buying my own modem. But the renter I had went out after 2.5 months and I went and bought one, then got another from comcast. To buy = $130 to rent = $5/month. So it would take 2 years to pay it off. And if it went bad and it was yours, oh well.

It's funny how they will do one thing in one market and another in another market. They didn't cut any deals when I got DSL. Believe it or not, DSL just came to our town and there is very limited area that has it, I just happen to live in that area.
Does anybody else have trouble with pages loading from EliteFitness. This has to be the slowest site I have ever seen. DSL works pretty good everywhere else except EliteFitness. It has to be their server that is causing all of it....plus the amount of traffic. Just a guess though!

This site can definately be slow at times. And here in Atlanta they market Bellsouth fast access hard and offer various deals. It's always atleast a free month and free modem.
