what do you marinate your FLANK steak in...

to make it tender? Ideally speaking, I just want the steak to be tender and I don't want a shit load of sodium / carb...any suggestion?

Low sodium BBQ sauce and no salt ketchup w/ black-red pepper and garlic powder.

didn't know that there is such thing as no salt ketchup.

do u have any suggestion as to how much to use for the above ingredients for to marinate a 8 ounch steak? Also, how long do you marinate it for?

There is salt free ketchup, check the grocery store....

1tbsp. of the BBQ sauce and 3 tbsp. of ketchup, 1/2 cup water w/ the pepper and garlic powder....marinade over night

Westbrae makes a Great no sugar or salt added Ketchup.

Marinate at least 6-7 Hrs in Balsamic Vineager.

Pour Granulated Garlic, Cracked pepper, Cayenne, onion Powder on it.

Give it a few whacks with a tenderizing hammer.

Serve Medium Rare, Or as rare as you can stand it.
