What do you guys think?? Need advice.

I have been re-evaluating my goals so I have been throwing around some different ideas about how to accomplish them.

Right now I am 5'9" with right around 205lbs of lean mass and 19%bf. I know I need to lean way down so don't flame my stats.
My wife likes my size when I am leaned down and I also want to try to keep my lean mass right about where it is due to the fact that I am beginnng to pursue my martial arts alot more aggressivley. I know what I need to do to drop the weight but I don't want to sacrafice my strength or lean mass during this time.

After reading Hucks thread on Anavar only cycles, I am thinking about running an 8 week var only cycle.
Do you guys think I should add maybe a low doseage of Dbol or maybe add tren to the cycle?? Or should I just leave it at the var only based on my current goals?
BTW, I will be going low carb for this time, not Adkins low but probably under 100gm/day.

I am just finishing week 8 of var @ 40mg/day (also been running proviron @ 50mg/day).

To be honest with you, it probably helped a little, but I have to say it's been all down to diet.

If I were you, I'd get my cutting diet sound, and spend a few weeks evaluating how you're doing without drugs (if you're able to shed fat and maintain strength without drugs at this point, there's no need to add them yet). When you stall is when you should add them in my opinion.

I have been cutting for about 15-16 weeks and spent the first 8 weeks just on a really clean diet, shed a lot of fat and maintained ALL of my strength. Foolishly I started my var cycle at that point, and although I have still been shedding fat while maintaining strength, I probably could have done the same with diet alone (as I had for the first 8 weeks). Now I have stalled at 11% bodyfat (I want to be about 8) so need to cut my calories even more - so NOW would have been a good time for me to start the var (not be finishing it!).

Thanks bro. I have been dieting clean but I have a real tough time dropping the weight w/o losing strength and mass for some reason. I know I could jump on using DNP but I hate using it (though I love the fat loss results) because of it's catabolic effects.
I would probably be using around 50-60mg of var ed. (safe according to Hucks thread on the subject) I just don't know if there would be any advantage to adding the other AAS based on my goals.

Am I not getting any responses because everyone here is just into bulking and has no experience with training for lean strength and cutting?? I find that hard to believe!

Does anyone have any sound words of wisdom here???

The drug won't make the difference but I would lean toward primo/masteron/fina and limit the weight loss to 1-1.5 lbs per week tops.

Considering this will be my first cycle, is that still what you would recommend?
Plus I have some var & Dbol on the way. Like I said in the original post I have re-evaluated my goals so I am willing to add whatever is necessary but would like to utilize what I have coming.

I don't mean to be an ass but the logical thing to do is figure out what you need then order your cycle, not buy some stuff then figure out how to cycle it. If you've already ordered your stuff this question is somewhat moot. Beyond that, my original answer still stands.

I don't mean to be an ass either but you're not hearing me. I KNEW what I was going to do as far as my first cycle. I had put about 6 months of research into it and had it all laid out but then I RE-EVALUATED my goals and decided to get some advice on how I should utilize what I had already ordered based on new goals. But I am also willing to order new stuff if someone thinks it would be beneficial. So the question is not moot, it is still wide open.

Tren = yes.

D-bol = NO!

May I suggest you forget about the anavar and try Halotestin? It will help your aggressivness for sparring and will increase your tenacity.
