What do you do when you stop gaining weight on a cycle?

I started at 190 6 weeks ago, last weekend I was 216, and this weekend I'm still 216, and I have 2 weeks left of sust and 4 weeks left of eq. Diet has been the same, training has been the same.

Just wondering what some of you guys do, start eating more, change up your routine...?

i can only speak for myself; but i don't gain weight and/or muscle at a linear rate, don't gain 2 pounds every week.

hang in there, dude. keep juicin' and liftin'. it will come to you.

i think eq kicks in in the later part of the cycle. when it does, LOOK OUT!! has eq given you hunger cravings yet?

The past couple of weeks I've been getting a little more hungry, but it's not out of control like some others have described.

I guess I'll try bumping the cals a little bit (not really going to hurt doing it). I was at around 4600-4700 a day, I'll try 5000 for a bit.

I find gains, on cycle and off, to be rather cyclic in nature. We all know that our bodies can not recruit 100% of our muscle fiber. We also know that when we train, some of strength gains come from muscle fiber recruitment and some from additional muscle mass. These two do not always come at the same time. I find that times when I am adding strength, muscle growth is minimal and at times when muscle growth is increasing strength gains are slowed. Its like our bodies recruits as many fibers as it can muster with our current training program and when that is no longer enough to handle the resistence its forced to add more muscle. At that point it once again has to learn to recruit more fibers to make use of the newly added mass. Anyways, just some speculation.

everybody reacts differently.

how much eq are you taking?

dude, 26 pounds in 6 weeks is nothing to be disappointed with! i should be so lucky. do you think your bf has increased much? always my problem.

I find that with Test/EQ my weight gains stop around week 6 or so, but the last few weeks I begin to harden noticably while maintaining the same bodyweight while still seeing strength gains----so my speculation is that my body composition continues to change but my body weight remains relatively stable.

If you harden up a 26 lb increase, you can chalk it up as a very successful cycle bro.

Well said.

what pimp said is good or you can start dropping the mg down on the cycle to bring your hpta back up to normal and cut the cycle shorter, this way you can get into another faster. I have always had the same probs, Im starting to notice when the gains stop to either boost up the mg, and do a pyramid cycle or just do shorter cycles at higher mg and bring yourself down. The shorter cycles I do like 6 weeks put on the same as if I was going to do a 10 week cycle so I have started to cut the weeks back up the dose, and get into other cycles quicker, imo thats what Im starting to like.

Thanks for all the great input bros.

rnch: I'm taking 400 mg's of eq a week. I've put on very little fat (I actually think a lot of what I thought was fat was really just water retention, because it's starting to come off now).

I noticed that right after I weighed myself this morning I'm starting to look a little leaner then I did last week. So I'm either starting to lose fat, or the water that came from the dbol (I stopped that about a week ago).

Either way, I guess when you look at it this way, I've maintained the same body weight, while getting a little leaner, I must be still gaining.
