Long time lurker just wondering what eveybody here does for a living? Are you a sudent, computer know-it-all, joe everyman or what? Myself.... I work in the oilfield, I am a roughneck, casing hand, derrickman, driller, etc. In other words I make my living in mud, grease, oil and dirt providing energy for the rest of you. Curious to see what you all occupy your time with....

I used to be a professional body builder until they pushed me out of the sport because I wasn't gay.

Thinkin' about becoming a male stripper. laugh it up! A STRAIGHT female club btw. I met a friend who does it, and makes bank and now it's givin' me the itch to do it (non-nude of course!).

Other than that. Writing security databases for the gov't (DHS) and an entertinmanet and marketing agent for casinos and hollywood studios. Basically developing exhibits and entertainment properties and solutions.

I'm also helping a friend in the import biz importing scooters/atvs/cycles into mexico/latin america -- www.tajmotors.com

I currently work for a very large, luxury car finance company -- we lease & finance Mercedes Benzes. However due to the office being relocated I'll be laid off soon....

I'm just a mom who stays home with kids! Used to be a Substance Abuse counselor in the jail and it was a much easier job!

Im a Licensed Child Welfare Professsional for the State of Illinois. I work for a private child welfare agency.

Oh, and I wait tables at a local Sports Bar.

I'm a mechanical engineer working for a sheetmetal division of a motor and controls company.

full time student pulling in the GI Bill. it's payback from uncle sam for putting in 4 years of honorable service.

Mountain Muscle - i worked in the oil field briefly, bout 6 months. tough line of work, but i enjoyed the off time, and the pay wasn't bad at all. had to quit though, was causing too much stress at home with me being gone a lot. if i was single, i probably would've never quit, but i definetly would've put in for a transfer because of my spineless supervisor, the pathological liar, and the whiny bitch that were all on my crew. me and the one other guy got along real good though. we stuck to the "work smarter not harder" philosophy. unfortunately, our supervisor couldn't understand how that worked.

landscape work in summertime, professional big game hunter in winter. mississippi bottom lands where the big bucks grow.

I just get paid for being a smart mofo. People asking for advice all the time. Why not capitalize on the goods

Customer Support for a Backup Software company. Currently helping design and revamp our departments internal website which is a nice change from answering 100 calls a day

I'm an interior designer and I do mostly high end interiors along with some contract and hospitality spaces. Right now I'm doing a lot of renovations and spec house re-models.

People who haven't actually seen me working think that what I do is about putting cute stuff together and picking out sheets and towels, until they see me at a job site or with a client.

I like what I do and I get to create spaces for people to enjoy their lives.

The GRE was an easy exam. I wish you were the moderator. I complained that the room temp was not 72 degrees. The appropriate temp for test. They assured it was.

I dunno if that would help if she was there while I was testing. It would have to be 30 degrees to keep me from over heating.

The test will give ya a greater salary in the long run. IMO and societies

Um, errrr, I already run and own a company. I don't need that stinking test for a good salary. :) I'll take the overheating any day.
