What do you collect?

AAP

Plat Hero

I collect Lighthouse replicas. But only of the lighthouses I have actually visited, which is primarily on the Carolina's, GA, and FLA coastlines.

Another thing I collect is the cow parade art

ftcollect_1692_26259879

ftcollect_1692_26246300

(but only because I have fucked two of the artists)

When I collect these, I try to either buy them directly from the artist so they are signed, or I write the artist prior and request a Polaroid snapshot of the artist and the actual sculpture. (signed of course)

I was in an art gallery somewhere on the east coast that was all cow art like that. don't recall where though.

I collect dust. I have an extensive collection.

I have the week old series I have no interest in. Want to make me an offer before I put it on Ebay?

Up until recently, I had a fairly extensive collection of dirty shaker cups. I used to display them in the back seat of my taurus. I feared washing them after a while as old protein powder in milk tends to have a not-so-fresh scent that has the potential to possibly kill anyone who opens the used shaker. When I got rid of that vehicle a couple of weeks ago I opted to throw them away rather than transfer the collection to the back of my blazer....but only because it has really dark tinted windows and nobody would be able to admire them.

You sick. I can only imagine the rear view mirror fell off from the sheer weight of air freshners hanging from it.

I've collected different things in the past - but I tend to loose interest quite quickly, and then I'm stuck with a whole lotta shit I can't sell very easyly. Bodybuilding is my only hobby now, at least that way I can collect something I can showoff eveyrwhere and use (muscle).

God, I got so bored with guns. I received two per year from my father (one on birthday, one at christmas) from the time I was 10 until 19 when I left for college. Then I inherieted his collection, so now I have a total of 57 firearms. (rifles, handguns, shotguns, collectibles, etc..)

He was so pissed when I was 18 and took up bowhunting. It was like a slap in the face for a gun lover like he.

They were all securely closed so there was no scent-- though my significant other smoked in my car quite often (much to my displeasure).

Y-Lifter, most of the cups contained chocolate protein goo as that's the flavor I tend to keep at work. I believe that one or two may have contained root beer float muscle milk or perhaps isopure vanilla. I'm not entirely sure.

My new vehicle is free of shakers or other such trinkets. It sucks because I keep forgetting cups and not having back ups in my car. Perhaps I'm just not clever enough to handle this whole "protein shake" lifestyle. :bawling:

Earwax.

I've got a ball a little smaller than a golf ball. It has taken me 12 years to accumulate that much. But not all of it is mine, I ask friends and family to contribute whenever they can.

I don't hunt Modern Gun or really Hunt at all anymore..
It's too hot in FL to hunt in the fall and the Deer are like big dogs.
No, feral hogs are a blast and will chase you up a tree if you get a mean one. I always carried a sidearm because when a Hog is after you, you normally drop your rifle and head up a tree.

I bought several and also inherited my Dad and His Dads guns.
I sole most of the plain nothing special guns but have kept the sentimental ones such as:

A beautiful 1940's engraved 16ga Belgian browning auto
A nice Japanese Arisaka rifle my dad toted back from the pacific with all matching serial #'s

I clean them, and thats about the only time I admire them anymore..

when I was a kid I collected scabs. (only mine) By the time I was 11 I had 24 ER visits, so I had alot of scabs.

I used to collect hats, matchbooks, beer caps.

Now I collect cd's(3200) dirtbikes(5) drag race cars(3) BMX bikes(5)... and diffrent kinds of AS.

all donations welcome.

Ohh man.. Don't get me started on those beanie things..

My Kid must have like 300... Some are in Baggies.. Baggies !
WTF... Like someones gonna auction them off at Christie's or something.

Out of my collection, a couple that stand out are the:

Winchester 10g double barrell pistol. (yes, that is not a typo, I said PISTOL) total length - 8 inches long.

A .22 knuckle duster, combination of brass knuckles, dagger and single shot pistol.

Illegally converted M10.

Illegally converted Tec-9. Which is a piece of shit. It was the first gun my dad was able to convert to full auto fire. Fucking cheap ass piece of metal. You can only use American Eagle brand of ammo because all the other ammo brands jam the chamber. Even in single shot mode. Which American Eagle still jams every 8th-9th shot.

My first gun a 410 Snake Charmer (which I would take bowhunting as the bow season opened one month early than gun season and the heat ensured there were still snakes about.)

I have an original Glock 9 that made the news because there was not enough metal in it to set off airport metal detectors. The entire line was recalled and "adjusted" to regulation standards. This is one that was never sent in.

I would go hunting in the N. GA mountains mostly. Which you had a pretty good hike to find some game, but you would see an abundance of it. Hunting in South GA is horrible as the deer there tend to be extremely jumpy and have a highly attuned ESP system because every red neck in the world takes pot shots at them day in and day out.

Yeah... I am a queer on roids and cialis, with an immense gun collection. What a nightmare....

Hockey cards and autographed memorabilia.

I have Ray Bourque's 1996 All-Star jersey that he signed for me as "1996 MVP" and I have Gretzky's 1991 All-Star jersey..

I have a crap load of mint Upper Deck and Be A Player autographs......Gordie Howe, Yzerman, Bourque, Orr, etc...

I have a dozen authentic game used jerseys from Patrick Roy, Sakic, Forsberg, Thornton, a couple Yzerman....

All signed by those guys in person.

Furniture.

I like to go out to salvage yards and find old pieces of furniture and refinish them.:)

Some I keep, some I sale.

i collect fishheads, you know, after you gut the fish you catch and cut off the head? well i keep the heads. its starting to smell funny in my bedroom, but oh well.

J/k.

Seriously, if i had more spare cash, i would collect videogames, especially all the good old super nintendo games.

Personally, I don't collect anything but my dad was in Nam' and he has a collection of Gook ears. When I was little I used to whisper into them thinking they might actually hear me. Neat, huh?

Bro... one word and take this as gospel advice 'EBAY.'

Start sneaking in your kids room at night. Just steal one or two at a time and auction them off on Ebay.

She'll notice them missing right away. (She'll probably even know what the damn thing's name is!) But all you've got to say is, "Was that the one your brother was playing with?" Or the kid down the street... or whoever. Shifting the blame will be really easy. No kid would think her dad was selling her Beanie Babies on Ebay.

Meanwhile... you just pile up that stack of cash you are making off loading those Beanie Babies... and invest in a couple six packs of Bud and a new duck gun for your truck. :D

Anal,

I would keep that shit to yourself. ATF doesn't take too kindly to Class III violations. I know from a very early experience in life (as a juvenile)!
-Sig P226
-Custom built 300 Win Mag Sniper rifle (Sako action)
-.50 BMG Barrett
-Taurus .44, 2X Leupold scope - for the hogs
-Various shotguns
-CAR-15
-Glock ? (compact 9mm)
-Volquartsen Mossad .22
-Ceiner .22 Riger (silenced)
-Several communist bloc weapons acquired via vacation travel

Add to the collection list:

-Mechanical and self-winding watches (Rolex, Breguet, Girard-Perregaux, Omega, Rado (vintage), Blancpain, and a few others)
-Home theater (hobby, not collection)
-Pubic shavings from me and the old lady: we are saving them up to make a sweater (Angorra) for the inlaws this holiday.
