What do Ya'll Think About Accupuncture? Does it really work?

My wife's back hurts terribly. The docs only gave her muscle relaxers and pain pills which just masks the problem.

That is what I am considering taking her to an accumputurist. I mean they got to work some how could they have stayed in business as long as they have.

So have any of you tried them or heard of people that tried them and was it successful for back pain? And how many times did they have to go to make it work. I mean they want $65 bucks to stick those pins in her. I mean I would stick my pin in her for free.

I dunno about accupuncture, let me stick this needle in my eye and tell you if it relieves any pain...

Only one reply and cornball one at that no offense Adaik but come on as many pins as you dudes stick in your asses you have never gone to a accupunturist? I mean they don't even need to aspirate.

I have never tried it, but I know some that have and they say it worked. I guess if you are in enough pain, give it a try, it can't make it worse.

I'm not sure if it works or not, for some it has, for some it hasn't, however if you beleive that it will work then generally it will.

i've had it. the injury went away but it probably would have done on its own




i know acupressure points have helped me immensly with knee pain in the past and even on occasion with headaches

acupuncture uses similar points but one presumes more intense stimulation of chi/qi flow. so i would imagine if one properly it wopuld work. it will feel very odd if ots done right





in terms of western medicines viewon acupuncture they feel it works as well along similar principles as a TENS machine iof you've heard of it. basically by stimulating non pain nerves or non long pain nerves it dull'd the pain signal and makes it feel better. thats just the western view on it though.

And to answer your question smeg we did but there our doctors of men. Remember Luke(one of the disciples) he was a doctor not as good Jesus but still a doctor. .
