My sisters & I pitched in some $$$$ & bought her a new table & chairs for the new patio/deck in the yard. She was shocked. Then we all BBQ'd... we all bought her cards - my sis & I always write mini novels so she was all happy. After opening her gifts etc., she said, "I just want to say that I'm so lucky to have daughters like you & sometimes I don't think I deserve you all...I love you all so much"... my & my 2 sisters were crying like babies - LOL! My other sis' played it off & laughed. After that, we had some fun gambling (poker etc.), & laughed/talked until 11pm. What a night!

Since my mother is no longer living would it be inappropriate to say what I got for Mother's Day? Various little plants they bought with their own money, great cards and vase for my desk at work - all handmade of course. They also got me a beautiful candle holder and candles (because they know how much I like them - like 75% off which made me REALLY happy!! I love the fact that my kids are learning how to black-belt shop LOL

But, by far, the best gift I got was the gift of courage. One of my kids is finally willing to stand up (even though the other kids are afraid just now to back them) and tell the truth... If that little kid isn't afraid, then how can I be?

My nephews and nieces and my kids and my BIL made us and brought us breakfast in bed... It was so sweet.

And my BIL shaved FINALLY shaved his head for my sister. He looks ten years younger easily!
