Anyone do anything really fun?

I went to a concert and a football game. Went to the driving range with a friend (no I don't golf and yes it was ugly), spent some time with friends and got some yardwork done.

Dude, how do you go to a driving range and not golf, that just seems like work to me... anyway I basically did grad paper work, catchup cardio, then woke up to sunday EF drama... which convinced me of another paper in the future for a class of how identity and technology, specifically online culture are becoming more symbiotic, then slept 3 hours last night, and am finishing due paper today right now....
U must have a big yard, as it always seems yard work is a must for your weekends.
 
played my first round of golf for the year with some of my gf's family. pretty frustrating b/c most years i play 3-5 times a week, just haven't had the time this year.

got a little rust out of the system!!!
 
sounds like a decent weekend. what band did you see? i used to go to the driving range with friends. sip a beer and hammer some balls down the driveway. i was shit, but it was fun.
i did door work for the first time friday and saturday night. first time i have stayed up until 4 in the morning for a while. first time i have been in a nightclub and not drank, either. i saw some stuff that really put me off drinking aswell.

I can't stand the pace of golf, I gave it up years ago.

Sonds like you were rather busy as well. Good luck with the paper.

No my yard isn't that big, I'm just anal about it.

I saw Shellac. They were great, loud as fuck.

"Hammmer some balls" yeah, it's fun to take out some aggression every so often.

my neighbor mows everyday and even sometimes at night with his rider that has headlights............you that anal, LOL:biggrin:

when golf is slow, it sux. i love an open course to go at my own will

I cut it once a week. So no I'm not that anal. I just want my place to look good.
 
Farmers' market Saturday. Went to breakfast with friends yesterday, first time being out to a place with my baby. Gym, then watched football.
 
I was sick all day friday, so the man left work at noon and came over to take care of me...he brought medicine, chicken noodle soup, and saltines, and we spent the day cuddled up watching movies while he rubbed my back. Saturday I was at the dive shop and the pool doing some stuff for my divemaster internship (paperwork, swim tests, etc), and yesterday I stayed in and watched football all day.

yes mate, im still in a bit of a dream world now. im so unused to late nights its embarrasing. im not sure what i make of it so far. iv never been in the situation that angry drunk blokes want to have a go, but i have to wait for them to throw the first punch before i can drop them.
on the plus side, i got so many numbers i dont know which ones to ring first :confused:

So you going to marry this guy or what? He sounds like he waits on you hand and foot, you must have him trained well.

We took her. It was the first time we've been out to eat with her. Good kid, she just slept the whole time. Fuggin' strangers kept reaching into her carrier to see her. I almost bit this woman's arm off.

That's interesting, I see people doing that to babies all of the time. Personally, I don't think they mean any harm by it but I can see it being irritating as hell. Who knows what they've been touching?
 
Did some volunteer work for United Way Sat morning. Got home showered, the wife cut my hair, showered off, afternoon secks, went to a Micro-brew & Wino feast. Sun was low key, watched some football, cleaned the pool.
 
Went to the shooting range and popped off some .45's Colt 1911 and a Sig Arms Equinox. Then I shot a 50 cal Desert Eagle. That was real fun to shoot. While I was shooting, about ten people came over and asked if I was going to save the brass for the 50, I said no, and they all jumped in trying to pick up as many as possible while damn near killing each other. That was kind of entertaining.

I've only shot a gun once, but damn it felt nice. It didn't help that I was drunk and baked at the time either. Probably 15 years ago?

lol....Who knows...that could be in our future. There are definitely aspects of this relationship I've never experienced before.

I think it's misleading to say he waits on me hand and foot, though he definitely took care of me when I was sick...but I do the same for him. It's a mutual you scratch my back I scratch yours.
 
Friday had people over for drinks , and accidently got hammered shit

Saturday was supposed to be date night with the man, but it ended up being me and my sis and her guy, plus another dude eating dinner and then going to Buffalos to meet a bunch of dudes to watch a college football game and ending up at the strip club

Sunday was a bridal shower and a football party

No, you're absolutely right...he got me drunk a couple of weeks ago (lol...jager!) and apparently he egged me into telling him that I want to marry him and have his babies (one day). It would seem he took it well since he didn't run screaming the other way (and he's implied similar thoughts when his inhibitions have been loose). It's easy to get caught up in things right now but I'm trying to keep my head on straight and just live in the now for a while.

Yes, Shellac is a punk band. The club was freaking packed with sweat, smoke and booze. Ah, the good ole days.

I went to the U of florida for the Miami Vs Florida football game.
weekend was insane.

i really need to move up there for at least a year while i'm back in school. it's so fuckin great up there. i feel like a social god up there and there's an endless supply of easy, gorgeous girls. plus everything is soooo cheap and people are really friendly.
i could probably just go to school and bartend. most of the male bartenders there look like fuckin dorks

did some 3d modeling and rigging in maya 2008 for a video game client. easy $1000. yeah for me. :)

That's sort of how I feel...No need to rush things along...If things go the way i'd like, there's plenty of time for all that...
