The short of it: Received a somewhat pricey Christmas present from a girl that I know the woman Im involved with wouldnt appreciate. I know I wouldnt if the situation was reversed. Especially since there was a recent prior history of expressed interest.

Also, I wouldnt feel right buying her something of comparable worth. Not really debating returning the gift, thats already decided. Whats the best way to do so?

Also, what do you peeps think if you were in a similar situation?

No, returning it to her. I don't think its fair to either person to accept it. At least I know it would bug me if some guy ,who had expressed interest, bought her something beyond a grab bag type present/card and she accepted. In a way its like acknowledging a mutual interest, or at least in my mind it would be that way.

most adult bookstores won't accept the "gift" back once it's been bought. if they do accept returns, i wouldn't shop there anymore.
