what certification do i need to become a personal trainer????

Hey i know many of you are personal trainers...
I have been working out for years...and i want to get a certification
and start training.... where do I start??
do i need a curtin certification.. for this.. like ACE or something..
or will any certification do ???
and how do you go about starting up... do you have to pay gyms a %??
I know some people work for the gym ?? do they require curtain.... certifications?? how do you go about doing it on your own... with out the gym.... any advise is great ...

also i think curtain certifications would only be necessary for interior decorating

curtain..Material that hangs in a window or other opening as a decoration, shade, or screen. you got me on that one ha ha...
