What car do you peeps own...

Highly modded '94 Z-28 The engine is bad as fuck, but the rest of the car is shit. Everything's falling apart. Cheapass GM pricks. Gonna sell this bucket and buy what freshr1 has in his avatar:D :D

doesn't anyone drive shit? everyone has $25k cars.

my first car was a 1977 buick lesabre. $950, lasted one year
second was an 88 ford taurus
third was a grand am, gasket blew, now its worthless

now i drive a 99 ford ranger splash :). it should last me 10 years.

I finally traded the Benz, bought a Infiniti....it's o.k, but a Japanese product so I figure I can't go wrong. I also have a cheap lease payment.

First car was a shitty '87 Ford Escort (2 doors.. so it was a sports model bitch!)

Since then I've moved up to crappy '91 Jetta (once again, the sports model).

My dream car/vehicle is a sooped up, boxy, old Astro Van.

I'm easy to please.

oh shit - my stepmom had one of those. it was baby blue and had zero power whatsoever. the exhaust leaked into the cabin and the cooling system was busted. so in the summer the heat would have to blast if you wanted to drive, and it couldn't go up hills, and it couldn't make it to 60mph - so you had to tak eall back roads.
but it was free and we couldn't afford anything else.
hated that thing.

my dad had a 73 chevy impala (I think V8 350) that was in so many accidents that finally had a roll cage and race seats with 5 point seat belts put in it. I was so embarassed in that piece of shit.
you could blow a gallon of gas just by flooring it from a stoplight.
you could also drive through a building and not even notice it.

at some point while I was in high school he gave away the cars for a tax break and I never leared to drive until I was like 22 or something.

now I drive a sweedish car. safe.

3. Chevy 4x4 truck

Let me clarify...

The truck is in the back yard and is used as a utility. Bull drives the Lincoln and I drive the Miata. Those of you that go back as far as this summer may remember that I bought the Miata for Bull for his birthday.

He doesn't like to drive it now that it is too cold to take the top off.

i had the opposite. it got 6 mpg (if i had spent 3k on a car with better gas mileage instead of 1k on a car with 6mpg i would have ended up spending the same amount over the long run and gotten a nicer car), and was like a 5.7L V8. it was strong, but gas was $100 a month.

why were you poor, btw?

my mom was young when I was born (23) and getting her masters in grad school - in english - and then it took her many years to start making anything - even then for a long time it was less than $20K and a single mom.
my parents divorced when I was 3 and apparently my dad didn't pay that much support that he was supposed to. and he was in grad school for many years.
students don't make money I guess.

anyway, that's neither here nor there - it all worked out in the end.
