what brand of protein do you take &why

what do you mean mislabel shit!? hope you're not talking about the nutrition label. examples, please.

which brings up another question.... how do we know that what is on the label of any protein or carb supp is accurate at all? It's not like it is regulated by the FDA, so it could be anything in there.

also, it doesn't look like allthewhey sells any type of multidextrin or dextrose???

People actually test this sometimes......protein factory got busted a while ago for not meeting label requirements but they are straight now I hear.

No they don't sell those products

audiophyle, how do you know it is off? did you have it tested? do you know how off it is?

i just ordered the whey isolate, complex carbs (multidextrin) and dextrose.

is there any products out there for these three items that are known to be accurately represented?

No testing needed really. Dextrose is dextrose no matter where you buy it from and the nutritional info on all dextrose should be pretty close to the same considering that you're buying a 100% pure product. But if you need proof, just take a look at the supplementdirect label...

Serving Size 1/3 cup (80g)
Calories 292
Total Fat 0
Sodium 0
Carbs 75
-Sugars 75
Protein 0

1/3 cup of dextrose does not equal 80g, measure it yourself and see. The label should say 1/2 cup = 80g which is what just about every other brand of dextrose on the planet says. So in reality 1/2 cup is 75g of carbs. Supplementdirect knows full well about the problem but for whatever reason they wont fix it (i guess they dont like having customers)

ok, so at least there's nothing wrong with the product itself, it's just a mistake on the serving size, which can easily be corrected if you know about it or have a food scale.
