Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I was just cutting up some Purdue Chicken and noticed on the package it said something about "No hormones and no steriods". I figure other brands of chicken might use this. How does this affect us and what pros and cons can I expect from eating chicken that were bred with or with out steriods.

Scientists are still trying to answer this question. Books and debate on this topic abound. Even things that claim to be organic often find loopholes and don't meet the average consumers expectations of what "organic" is. Kidsare going through puberty earlier and girls are getting bigger chests and rounder butts.. that's about the only thing we can be sure of
