Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below i was going over some old bodybuilding magazines my older brother gave me, and it sorta struck me how much difference there is between the mr olympia of 10 or 20 years ago and now. so who do you feel has the physique that you'd most like to emulate? for me it would be frank zane. anyone who can look that good at 185 pounds is awesome.
What bodybuilder has the best physique? all time?

Who's psysique would I most like to emulate?
I think a cross between Steve Reeves, Frank Zane, and Arnold, with Franco's hardness. It's impressive to see the mass freaks of today, but thats not for me. If I had to pick a current top competitor it'd be Kevin Levrone.

IMO there's too many greats to single out just one.... Most of the people mentioned in this thread are a tie for various reasons, even though they may not hold the same body styles and shapes, they all have amazing strengths and hard to spot weaknesses - if any at all...

DEXTER JACKSON has the most aesthetic and pleasing physique! He's always awesome at every show. Most underated. Next whould be Jay Cutler. Does awesome deltoids are so unreal. I wouldnt be suprised if he used synthol.

Okay..what is it that alot of people see about Flex Wheeler in '93??
IMO Flex in the '98 Arnolds was the best bodybuilder to ever step on stage and Arnold himself even backed that up. I also like the fullness and roundness of Flex at the '99 Olympia which I thought he should have won. Again, IMO, Flex in '93 doesn't compare to the Flex of the last 4-5 years.

ARNOLD....any decade!!!
Olivia was very thick...but never came in ripped.
I am personally amazed that Zane won 3 Olympias. He looked sick but Today he would be on the cover of Mens Fitness instead of Flex.

Im surprised only one post of Lee Priest....dude.. that guy is straight up AMAzing to me. If he were only a little taller, he would be raping the competition. He just looks too ridiculous at that hight standing next to Ronnie and the other Big uns. BTW.. i think Arnold had hands down the best symmetry EVER.

Even by todays standards, Arnold still has the best Biceps, Chest and Calves I have ever seen.

Arnold hands down! --take a look at the pics from the 1974 Olympia --amazing mass and balance. He blew away Ferrigno. He was cut at the 1975 Olympia , but he had lost some of the mass he had in 74.
My Second choice is Flex Wheeler at the Arnold classic in 1993---the guy must have had less than 1% bodyfat --tremendous muscle fullness with those tiny joints.

because i am a flex fan i am a little biased....but looking in my back issue of FLEX i would have to agree with bailey and say the 98 arnold saw the greatest physique EVER in flex wheeler form!
Personally now i think Cutler is the man.
Arnold was before my time but i think if i know anything about the sport he was cut and dry above all others...who is this Columbu i see posted....LOL. If i remember reading correctly he might have been strong as an ox but in his day he didnt even come close to Arnold.

The Flex Wheeler of '96 had the best of all time, muscle symmetry, hardness, size, Sergio oliva had the best genetics of all time. He could compete with todays guys and back then he was only using d-bol and primo. This will piss a few bros off but Arnold was not as proportional as say a Flex Wheeler. His chest and arms, and waist taper, were one of a kind, but chicken legs don't cut it, sorry!
