Since today is Canada's Thanksgiving and since you USA'er's have yours in a few weeks I must ask the question.
What is Milhouse thankful for?
I am thankful to realize that my life is more important now to me then it was months ago. I am thankful that I genually want to help out those that I care about. I am thankful that I have many aquaintances but more importantly a few real good friends who I have lots of love and respect for even though we all dont see eye to eye at times nor see each other all the time. I am thankful that I live in a country where I can get up every morning with a plan for the day if I choose and that I can so what I want and be free. I am thankful that someone I love very much gave me a chance many years ago and saw something in me to be successful and gave me the ball to run with, I wont let you down dad. I am thankful to realize lately that I am looking at my life in a way that I never have before and that I will do whatever it takes to make those dreams come true and it will because I have always succeeded when I set my mind to it. I am thankful to be just as comfortable in a room full of people and by myself in solitude where I can do deep reflection. I am thankful for making a change in my life for myself this time. I am thankful for every material possession I have and for the ones I dont have which keep me driven(buying a house is a priority as home is where the heart is).
I am thankful for being born with a cocky personality that refuses to be knocked down and will always get back up to make things better for myself and others. I am thankful to be able to have the right to make good and stupid decisions and learn from both. I am thankful to have 2 great kitties who have no clue what is going on in the world and just want to be fed and scratched under the chin. I am thankful to have the ability to read and write even though my grammer and spelling suck. I am thankful to be able to see, hear, walk, run, carry, feel, touch and love those around me with all my heart even if I don't say it sometimes.
I am thankful that I was able to do my grandfather's eulogy because I missed seeing him for the last time by one day, it gave me the chance to say goodbye. I am thankful for this adventure called life and the many more adventures ahead. I am thankful for the opportunity to put up this thread.
Thank You
